Pregabalin

Indications
Pregabalin IP 75 mg (SR) + Methylcobalamin 750 mcg + Alpha Lipoic Acid Tablets are indicated for the management of:
- Peripheral neuropathy
- Diabetic peripheral neuropathy
- Neuropathic pain
- Nerve damage associated with diabetes
- Burning, tingling, and numbness of hands and feet
- Post-herpetic neuralgia (nerve pain following shingles)
- Sciatica and radiculopathy (as prescribed)
- Cervical and lumbar neuropathic pain
- Vitamin B12 deficiency-related neuropathy
- Nerve regeneration and neurological support
Contraindications
This medicine should not be used in patients with:
- Known hypersensitivity to Pregabalin, Methylcobalamin, Alpha Lipoic Acid, or any component of the formulation
- History of serious allergic reactions to Pregabalin
- Severe kidney impairment without appropriate dosage adjustment
- Patients with hereditary galactose intolerance or lactose deficiency (where applicable to the formulation)
- Children unless specifically prescribed by a physician
Usage / Dosage
- Take one tablet once daily or as directed by your physician.
- Preferably take the medicine after food with a glass of water.
- Swallow the sustained-release (SR) tablet whole. Do not crush, chew, or break it.
- Take the medicine at the same time each day for best results.
- Do not discontinue treatment abruptly without consulting your healthcare provider.
Precautions
- May cause dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, or reduced concentration. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.
- Use with caution in patients with kidney disease, heart failure, or elderly patients.
- Pregabalin may cause weight gain or swelling of the hands and feet in some individuals.
- Avoid alcohol during treatment as it may increase drowsiness.
- Consult your physician before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Inform your healthcare provider about all medications you are taking to avoid potential drug interactions.
